This Privacy Policy explains how Duska Team (“Duska”, “we”, “us”, or “our”)
collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects information when you use the Duska mobile application (the “App”) and related services (the “Service”).
Age requirement: The App is intended for users aged 17+. If you are under 17, do not use the Service.
2) Scope
This policy applies to information processed through the App and the Service. It does not cover third-party websites or services that may be accessed outside the App.
3) Information we collect
We collect information in the following ways.
- Information you provide: name, username, email address; customer support content; and any chat screenshots/images/text you choose to upload or enter for reply generation.
- Collected automatically: device information, usage statistics, and crash logs/diagnostics.
- Location (optional): precise or approximate location if you grant permission; you can revoke permission in device settings.
- Cookies & similar technologies: used for login and preferences and may include web beacons where web-based components are used.
4) AI-powered features and your uploads
Duska is an AI-powered chat companion that crafts personalized responses based on the context you provide (such as chat screenshots and details about your conversational partner).
- Processing location: uploaded images and text are processed on Duska Team’s own servers (external to your device).
- No third-party sharing for AI processing: we do not share your uploaded images/text with third parties for AI processing, and we do not disclose them except as described in Section 7 (e.g., service providers acting on our instructions, legal obligations, or with your consent).
- Deletion after processing: uploaded images/text are deleted from our servers immediately after processing is completed (or as soon as reasonably practicable for short-lived technical handling such as retries).
- Your control: you choose whether to upload and whether to generate content.
- No facial recognition/biometrics: we do not perform facial recognition or create biometric templates.
- Not used for training or marketing: uploads are not used to train models or for marketing.
- Default local storage: the App is designed so that your conversation materials and generated outputs are stored locally on your device by default (subject to your device and backup settings).
5) How we use information
- Provide & maintain the Service (accounts, authentication, core features).
- Personalize your experience based on context you choose to provide.
- Improve reliability, performance, and features (analytics, debugging, crash analysis).
- Security and abuse prevention.
- Customer support and communications.
- Compliance with legal obligations and enforcement of our terms.
6) Legal bases (where applicable)

- Contract: to provide the Service you request.
- Consent: for optional features (such as location) and processing uploads you submit for generating outputs.
- Legitimate interests: to secure, improve, and maintain the Service.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only when necessary and on a minimum-necessary basis:
- With your consent or at your direction.
- With service providers (processors) acting on our instructions under contractual obligations (e.g., hosting, security, support tooling).
- For legal reasons: to comply with law, lawful requests, or legal process.
- To protect rights and safety: enforce terms, investigate abuse, or protect users and the Service.
8) International data transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and other lawful mechanisms.
9) Security
We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption (in transit and at rest where appropriate), access controls, periodic reviews/audits, and backups. No method is 100% secure.
10) Data retention
- Account information: retained for the duration of your account.
- Account deletion: deleted or anonymized within 30 days unless retention is required for legal or security reasons.
- Usage data/analytics: up to 12 months.
- Customer support records: up to 6 months.
- AI uploads: deleted immediately after processing (Section 4).
11) Your privacy rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict/opt-out, and withdraw consent.

12) Children
The Service is not directed to children under 17, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 17. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. The Effective Date above indicates when the latest version took effect. We will provide notice of material changes as required by law.
